FAQ: Cleaning and Care Instructions
Standard Luggage Co products are made with quality components and are designed to last for years with minimal upkeep and maintenance. By following these simple cleaning and care instructions you will be able to enjoy our products for trips and countless miles to come.
Cleaning Do’s:
We recommend always hand washing our products with a diluted mild detergent. You may use a brand name dish soap or laundry detergent. Always test the detergent first on the bottom or non-visible area of the bag.
Ensure the contents of your bag are completely emptied and fill a large bucket or sink with mild-to-warm water. Use a non-abrasive cloth to wipe down any soiled areas of your bag as needed. When finished hand wiping, rinse the bag thoroughly and lay your bag down onto a dry towel to dry. Your bag will dry quicker in a well ventilated room.
Cleaning Don’ts
Do not put your bag into a washing machine or dryer. Please note that doing so will risk your bag for damage and also void the warranty on our products. Please always hand wash following our instructions.
